Duck season brings a rhythm and intensity all its own. It's early mornings, working calls, and the rush of wings overhead. At North Wind Curls, we’re dialed in—from the decoy spread to the first light shot—and we’re here to give you a hunt that’s both fun and unforgettable.

In October we target puddle ducks—mallards, wood ducks, black ducks—when the migration is moving and the action’s steady. Hunts are set up for visibility, comfort, and shot opportunities with experienced calling and sharp dogs in the field.

WHAT TO BRING

You’ll need your New York State hunting license with a federal duck stamp, warm waterproof gear, and any personal items for the field. We provide the decoys, calls, blinds, and working retrievers—everything you need to hunt right.
